Climate change impacts for our area include: less snow in winter, earlier snowmelt, drought, tree die-off, and more wildfires. Natural Resource Managers are on the frontline of the Climate Change challenges.

Students in The CCC learn what is causing Climate Change, how it impacts New Mexico, and what can be done about it. This knowledge is critically important to the future of our natural resources. It also helps students be more competitive for jobs and be ready to face the challenges ahead.
